I started out working from the german term «heimat». Heimat is not only the home you come from, it is the landscape, the smells, your family, the region. Your heimat can be a place you can travel back to, or revisit by recollecting. In this piece I wanted to investigate my own connection to my heimat, and make a still life performance dedicated to a person, who where strongly connected to me and my heimat, but that I now only can meet through my memories.
